Methods and Evidence Standards
This archive is built to preserve primary sources first, with clear provenance for every file. Interpretive claims are labeled and separated from evidence.
Evidence Tiers
Verified sources are primary documents with direct citations (patents, scans, court records, official archives).
Unverified items are leads identified by OCR or secondary references and require manual confirmation.
Interpretive sections synthesize narratives and are explicitly marked as such.
Suppression Claims
Claims of suppression or shutdown are treated as allegations unless supported by court orders, agency records, or contemporaneous press.
Provenance
Every downloaded file is logged with date, URL, file type, and a brief justification in research/sources/sources-log.md.
How to Read the Archive
Start with verified sources, then follow unverified leads. Each page should tell you which category a claim belongs to.
